KidActive is a Certified Family Home Preschool/Daycare.
We are all about family and meeting children at their level and learning at their pace. Our main goal is to create a great safe space to make friends, learn and play.

KidActive has several different play spaces all designed with fun, learning and friendship in mind. We have a large covered outdoor space, a large playground, and two back yard spaces to explore and have fun in. Plenty of room to play games, explore and pretend with friends.

We have a huge covered patio allowing 365 days of outdoor play!
Fun learning areas and playspaces
Kidactive has many areas that are used for both learning and play. We do much of our learning through exploration and imagination. We have a full classroom for our preschool students to learn in and areas dedicated to our smaller friends that is meant for learning and play as well. We ensure that each child gets what they need to be able to confidently enter Kindergarten when it is time.

Miss Sonya
Head Teacher & Owner
Sonya is the head teacher and owner of KidActive. She loves to play, teach and care for all the littles. Sonya has a Bachelors in Elementary Education and uses her degree and experience to create a rich learning environment filled with love.
Miss Sadie
Teacher
Miss Sadie is a very talented young teacher who has a natural loving way with children. She has been with KidActive for 3 plus years now and is only improving her skills everyday. She is an amazing asset to KidActive.

Miss Jordyn, Miss Chloe, Miss Savanna, miss Jocelyn and miss frankie
Miss Frankie and Jordyn are both assistant 2’s and excellent with all ages. Both are wonderful teachers ready to step in and help expand a students learning experience and help guide friendships at any time. Miss Jocelyn is a Senior in high school and here to help with toddler pre-K and Preschool classroom activities. She is very good with children and loves to do art and teach them fun games. MIss Savanna and Chloe are here in the afternoons and spend time playing and interacting with the children. Helping to care for each child and ensure the kiddos get the needed attention and support that they would in their own home.

Ms. Sonya and her team are by far the best experience both my son and myself have had with daycare. Not only was he provided with a safe and stimulating environment, but they really helped his professions and milestones. His conversational speech exploded. Being an only child at home, he learned how to share and communicate boundaries with peers. He genuinely looked forward to daycare- to see his friends and teachers. We relocated across the country, but if we ever find ourselves back in the area with a little one, we will definitely be knocking at Ms. Sonya's door! Thank you guys for everything ❤️

My child attended daycare here for a few years. She learned SOOOO much during this time. She was always so well cared for , loved the activities, and made so many wonderful friends while attending. Can't say enough great things about Sonya

We have had a great experience with sonya and her staff, very engaging with the kids and very accommodating with parents and busy schedules. Our daughter always looks forward to going to daycare and look forward to our newest daughter joining in time as well

I've worked hard for all I have today, but as a single mom it revolved around the childcare I've now lost with no warning. This will be devastating. After questioning Sonya on a minor injury to my child, she has decided to drop my child's care instead. Sonya is insisting I'm accusing her of something, despite me telling her multiple times that isn't the case. I assume she would not harm or intentionally conceal information on a child's wellbeing, but I just asked a question and this is the result. Kids are kids, all I wanted was clarity on what actually happened because my child said another child hit her. Shouldn't we listen to our children?

We are so incredibly grateful to have Found KidActive Preschool and Daycare. Our little human got to spend 2 fun, educational, growth filled years with Ms. Sonya, Ms. Sadie, and other KidActive Staff. It is so important to feel safe leaving your child in the care of others, and we felt that. Ms. Sonya was always willing to work with us, no matter the issue, and was always supportive and solution oriented. Our child's time at Kidactive is a parrt of his foundation and will continue to be a part of the building blocks of his future development. Thank you KidActive! Even though we are so sad to go, we are so happy to have gotten the time we spent.
